The Corporation is hereby empowered to raise, receive, and expend funds for its charitable purposes. The Corporation shall maintain records, books, and other necessary documentation in appropriate accounting form of all grants, donations, bequests, or other contributions to the Corporation and shall report such contributions to the Internal Revenue Service as said Service may, from time to time, require.

Mission:
American Friends of African Vocational Development is a nonprofit organization supporting education, technology, and skill-building programs that uplift communities in Africa.

Our purpose is to connect American and African partners in mutual learning and opportunity, strengthening local capacity for self-reliance and dignity through work.

- Provide humanitarian assistance aimed at promoting the community development and vocational

training in Africa.

- Design, initiate, and implement micro-investment projects to encourage socio-economic development.

- Promote access to healthcare and family planning services.

- Advocate for environmental protection and establish programs to provide vocational training and

civic education centers.
